A Word from Pastor Alan
Welcome to Shalimar United Methodist Church!
I want to invite you to please come over to Shalimar Church! There is a little bit of everything going on as we seek to Reach, Teach, and Send persons to know and experience God's Love in Jesus Christ. Jesus' love is at the center of our purpose as a church, and I hope you will step beyond the website and visit.
As Lead Pastor, I am very excited to see the numerous ways that people of all ages, families, single persons, and couples are finding ways to know Jesus Christ, grow in their faith, and step into serving and helping others in the community. If you could come on a Sunday morning, there are four special worship services where we honor and praise God, hear His Word, experience great music, and know His presence in and around us as we come together in Faith.

During the week and especially on Wednesday afternoons and evenings, if you came in, you would find numerous ways to learn more about our God among smaller groups of people like you. Indeed, all ages are warmly invited to experience fellowship in the Body of Christ; children of all ages, students in middle school and high school, younger adults, and every other age meet to know each other and to be exposed to the Bible and its message about who God is and who we are in relationship to Him. Each Wednesday at 5:00 p.m., we have a wonderful fellowship dinner with great food and get to know others in our Family Life Center.
The most important thing, though, is that I want to have an opportunity to meet you and introduce you to special friends at Shalimar Church who can assist you in finding ways of serving God and sharing Jesus’ love beyond ourselves into the lives of others. Through Christ, this church is meeting needs, helping people, and seeking to bless our community.
