Bread House Week 55
Week 55: It was an interesting week. We had a man who came in to receive food tell us he was moving and how this food pantry has helped him so much while he was down and out. He then proceeded to give us $20.00 to help the cause. Events like this have happened several times while we have been open.
This week we also had a lady come by and pick up some items. Then she showed us she had made spring rolls for the homeless. She takes hundreds every Monday to help them out. She gave the Bread House enough for every staff to have one, and they were fantastic. Everyone is out trying to help their neighbors. It is a great feeling!
